Kapit Bisig Para Sa Ilog Pasig (KBPIP) was launched on February 24, 2009. Its main goal is to rehabilitate the Pasig River.
This river used to be beautiful but now used as a dumping ground for all garbage from commercial waste to human waste.
KBPIP and ABS-CBN Foundation through the chair of Ms. Gina Lopez has launched A Run for the Pasig River which is scheduled on November 8, 2009 at the Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park, Manila.
This program has several categories such as: 3 kilometer, 5 kilometer, 10 kilometer and the full 42 kilometer marathon, aims to boost awareness about the project as well as raise funds to rehabilitate the Pasig River.
The run is open to the public with a participation fee of P250.

3. Plastic bottles and plastic scraps
4. Used lead batteries (from cars, UPS/Voltage regulators?
5. Aluminum, tin cans, busted rechargeable lamps
6. Polysterene, styrofoam, junk cellphone, cellphone batteries (not for recycling/buying)
Part of the sales will be given to Environment Causes!
